  1. •12/20/09 - Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film is now an official selction for the 2010 Slamdance Film Festival!  It also played recently in the Houston Comedy Film Festival and the Iron Mule Film Festival

  2. •8/26/09 -uploaded the new Ninjews intro on the “Ninjews Episode 2” page, and a commercial I shot several years ago on the “camerawork” page.

  4. •6/7/09 - returned home from Texandance Film Festival, where “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” took home the award for Best Comedy. Pics are on the Gallery page.

  5. •5/25/09 - I have finally finished building/designing the interiors for the new “Ninjews” short film, and have posted them on the Ninjews page.  Have also been invited to screen “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” at the Texandance Film Festival in New Braunfels.

  6. •4/3/09 - “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” has been invited to both the Indie Spirit and Crossroads film festivals, and took home (well, I haven’t been mailed the award yet) “Best Short Film” at the World of Comedy Festival.   Last night (4/2) I had a showcase put on by the Houston Film Commission, where nine of my short films were screened. See pics here.  “The Ninjews,” “Peter and I”, “Debt Consolidated,” and “Joey and Jerome’s Excellent Action Movie” are now under (non-exclusive) distribution by Ouat Media/Moviola: the Short Film Channel.   I have a created a page devoted to “The Ninjews: Episode 2” (a riveting title if I do say so) here, and a link to my IMDB page which NOW includes some of my actual movies.  I also renamed some stuff and rearranged some buttons. ISN’T THAT EXCITING?????

  7. •2/24/09 - “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film (I’m quite sick of typing that) has been accepted into the World of Comedy Film Festival in Canada (sweet, eh!) and the Backseat Film Festival here in the US.  I have uploaded an animation demo/teaser for my upcoming Ninjews short film.

  8. •2/8/09   - “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” has been accepted into the US Super 8 and DV Festival.   It was also a contender in the Festivus Film Festival.  “Every Seven Minutes” apparently won 4th place (whee?) at the Brainwash Film Festival.   Uploaded the new Ninjews theme song I recorded.  Also uploaded a test animation of a walk cycle.

  9. •11/18/08  Usually a bridesmaid, finally a bride: “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” won “Best Comedy” at the 2008 Gulf Coast Film Festival this past weekend.   See a few photos here.  It has also been accepted into Zerofest in Los Angeles, and the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival.

  10. •9/25/08 - It happened again! Who woulda thunk it? “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” has been accepted into the McAllen Art and Film Festival in McAllen Texas.

  11. •7/21/08 - “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” has been accepted into the Gulf Coast Video and Film Festival in Houston, TX.

  12. •7/12/08 - Freakin’ finally! After many a rejected submission, a movie other than the Ninjews has made into a film festival that DOESN’T take everything submitted.  “Every Seven Minutes” has been accepted into the Brainwash Movie Festival, in Oakland CA.    Also, I have uploaded a new song, Bass Attack.

  13. •5/8/08 - Uploaded a short animation test from my upcoming Ninjews movie that will take me the next several hundred years to complete.

  14. •2/4/08 - An article about the Jack-Al Festival is out in the University of St. Thomas publication “The Cauldron.”  Read it here.    In other news, Generic Independent Film Soundtrack Song is now available on the music page.

  15. •1/13/08 - Updated my demo reel on the camerawork page.

  16. •1/8/08 - Added a bunch of new clips to the camerawork page.

  17. •1/4/08 - Added more links to the links page, and finally mailed off older short films to various submission outlets.

  18. •12/31/07 - Added the music page to the site.

  19. •12/27/07 - Preparing to send out older short films to various distribution outlets to see if anyone bites,  working on a new Ninjews script, and eagerly awaiting the upcoming screening of “Joey and Jerome’s Artistic Meaningful Independent Film” (See trailer here) at the Jack-Al Film Festival (see the festival website here) on 1/12/08
